UPDATED: State PD Search For Wanted Men Early Monday

Between 3 and 4 a.m., local and State Police searched for two men wanted in connection with a crime but would not specify what type. Shortly before 3 a.m., North Andover officer Pat Beirne saw a car driving by him near Massachusetts Avenue with sparks flying out of the back. State Police had been chasing the car from Lawrence, and Beirne then turned around and joined in pursuit. According to the Eagle Tribune, whoever was driving the vehicle fled after crashing it at the intersection of Elm and Maple streets. The car, a red Acura Integra, was towed by Trombly Brothers Inc. of North Andover at around 2:55 a.m, the Eagle Tribune reports.
