Andoverite Shows Off Skills in Hockey Tournament
Kyle Wakefield took part in Hockey Night in Boston Major Showcase.
The Hockey Night in Boston Major Showcase is one of the biggest high school hockey showcases in the country. This year’s tournament, which began on July 24 and runs until tomorrow, features over 400 hockey players from 23 states as well as three Canadian provinces. The tournament draws from the top local and national high school, prep school, and juniors players. HNIB alumni include NHL-hall of famer Brian Leetch as well as NHLers John LeClair, Bryan Berard, Keith Tkachuk, and Tom Barasso. Out of all of those multitudes of players that include state champions and Division-1 commits there is one Andoverite: Kyle Wakefield.
