The Historical Society has 20 uniquely decorated trees on display through Dec. 22.

The Historical Society recruits members of the community to decorate trees each year for the society's Christmas Academy. Members of the community, like the Andover Fire Department, decorate a tree with historically-relevant ornaments as well as a theme of their choice. In the third year of the event, the Historical Society asked decorators to also focus on historic education themes, like household chores or home economics for children in 19th century. The trees will be on display Tuesday to Saturday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. through Dec. 22.
