Andover dancers to perform in "The Nutcracker" this weekend
Typically done by professionals, the New England Civic Ballet performance of "The Nutcracker" gives local performers a chance to shine
Five Andover dancers will be taking on roles in the ballet "The Nutcracker" this weekend at the Rogers Center at Merrimack College in North Andover. The performance, put on by the New England Civic Ballet, give local dancers a chance to shine like professionals. Andover residents Erica Nork, Elaina Ventre, Grace Conway, EB McCarthy, and Courtney Naughton are all performing in "The Nutcracker." Erica's mother Janet said that the performance of classical music composer Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky's "The Nutcracker" is typically done by more exclusive companies.
