Meet a Teacher: Susan Choquette

Susan is a drama teacher at Andover High School.

Today we feature Susan Choquette, a teacher at Andover High School.  Where do you teach and what subject do you teach? I teach at Andover High School. I have taught in Andover for 15 years. My first 4 years were spent as an elementary music specialist at South, West and Bancroft Elementary schools. I now teach drama at the High School. Briefly describe your previous teaching experience and education. I have a Bachelor of Music in Music Education from the University of New Hampshire and a Master of Arts in Theatre Education from Emerson College. Create a Logo and Win $100 from AYS Theatre Works!

The newly formed AYS Theatre Works! program needs your help and they're willing to pay.

The following was submitted by Kathy Abisso.  After twenty-three years in Andover, Merrimack Junior Theatre has closed its doors; however Andover’s wonderful tradition of youth theater is not over, as three of the members of the former Merrimack Junior Theatre Advisory Board join with Andover Youth Services to create a new theater opportunity for the youth in the Merrimack Valley. The newly formed AYS Theatre Works! will hold auditions in early September for their first production scheduled for the Fall of 2012. Rehearsals will be held in the evenings during September through November, 2012. The performance  will be Nov 9th, 10th and 11th.  The initial program will be for actors in grades four through eight.
