A driver had to be extricated from his truck that crashed into the woods this evening.
State Police responded to a report of a truck that slid off the roadway Route 125 near Prospect Road around 5:30 p.m. Sunday evening. Police said the driver was stuck in the vehicle and the rescue teams had to extricate the man from the vehicle using the jaws of life. He was transported to an area hospital with unkown injuries. Route 125 is currently closed to clear the accident.

State Police are investigating a collision that occurred Friday afternoon on Route 125 in Andover.
A head-on collision took the lives of two Andover residents Friday afternoon, making them the second and third fatality this week in Andover. A woman was killed last weekend in a motorcycle crash on Interstate 93. At approximately 5 p.m. Friday afternoon State Police reported a head-on collision on Route 125 in Andover between a 2004 Saturn and a 2010 Chevrolet pickup truck. The driver of the Saturn, 72-year-old Joann Eckels, and her passenger, 82-year-old James Eckels, were pronounced deceased following the two-car accident on Friday afternoon. A New Hampshire State Police Trooper escorting New Hampshire Gov. John Lynch and his wife was injured after a heroic rescue following a road rage incident near the junction of Interstate 495 on Interstate 93. According to police, at approximately 6:45 p.m. Sunday, Trooper Scott Frye was traveling north on I-93 in the area of Exit 44 with Gov. Lynch and First Lady Susan Lynch, in an official capacity. They witnessed a road rage incident as it unfolded in front of them, resulting in a serious accident with injuries, entrapment and a fire resulting in an explosion. Police reported that a pedestrian was hit by a motor vehicle at roughly 6 p.m. Wednesday night on Dascomb Road.
Andover Police and other emergency personnel responded to a pedestrian accident Wednesday evening at the intersection of Dascomb Road and Lovejoy Road. At roughly 6 p.m. a motor vehicle hit a man, who police say was in his 50s, at the busy intersection and was reportedly stuck underneath the vehicle before he was given emergency care. Police say the man suffered serious injuries and was eventually flown to Boston Medical Center after arriving at Lawrence General Hospital. Police do not have an update on his condition and are not releasing his name. As of Thursday morning, police said that the driver of the vehicle had not been cited for any motor vehicle infractions. State Police have identified the names of two individuals involved in a hit and run accident Wednesday afternoon.
State Police have identified the operator of a Mercedes that was involved in a hit and run accident with a motorcycle on Route 125 in Andover Wednesday afternoon. State Police spokesman Trooper Sean Murphy said that 66-year-old North Andover resident Jinhi Kim was traveling north on Route 125 when she allegedly veered into oncoming traffic and collided with the motorcyclist. Murphy said that the motorcyclist, 22-year-old Wilmington resident Adam Schainost, was seriously injured in the accident that occurred on Route 125 near Route 28 around 3:15 p.m. He is expected to survive. Schainost was transported to Lawrence General Hospital with serious injuries. Kim had allegedly left the scene of the accident but was pulled over a half-mile down …

Interstate 93 northbound is now clear following a rollover accident.
State Police are reporting that Interstate 93 northbound is now clear following a rollover accident earlier today. Police said that the accident involved only one vehicle and the driver suffered non-life-threatening injuries.The accident occurred on 93 north near Dascomb Road. There were also reports of a second ambulance at the scene for a firefighter with multiple bee stings.
