Confetti Bombs Reported by Two Homeowners

The police logs for Monday, July 11, contained two arrests and several small incidents.

The following are excerpts from the Andover Police log. The log is open to the public. At 2:10 a.m. police arrested Grant C. Brewer, 24, 150 Jackson St., Methuen, on North Main Street. Brewer was charged with breaking and entering for a misdemeanor and malicious damage to a motor vehicle. At 6:11 a.m. a resident on Bulfinch Drive reported his motor vehicle was stolen sometime overnight. An officer filed the incident and entered the vehicle in database for stolen vehicles. At 12:33 p.m. a caller reported a one-car motor vehicle accident on Winterberry Lane. No injuries were reported. At 1:07 p.m. a low-hanging wire was reported on Maple Avenue. At 4:37 p.m. a caller reported a crow that was stuck in the batting net next to the Collins …

La Quinta Guest Reports Theft

The police logs for Tuesday, June 20, contained several small incidents.

The following are excerpts from the Andover Police log. The log is open to the public. At 8:49 a.m. a caller reported a car hit her parked car on Essex Street and then the operator gave her fake information. The woman found out that she was dialing the wrong number and dealt with the issue without police. At 11:12 a.m. a caller reported kids riding skateboards in the middle of the road on Regency Ridge Road. At 12:23 p.m. a caller reported a motor vehicle crash with injuries on Union Street. At 1:20 p.m. a caller reported a two-car motor vehicle accident on Walnut Avenue. No injuries were reported. At 2:34 p.m. the Dunkin Donuts on North Main Street reported receiving a counterfeit $20 bill. At 5:29 p.m. a caller reported seeing duck eggs …

Attempted Motor Vehicle Theft on Washington Park Drive

The police logs for Wednesday, June 15, contained an attempted car theft and several small incidents.

The following are excerpts from the Andover Police log. The log is open to the public. At 12:18 a.m. gunshots were reported on Shawsheen Road. An officer checked the area with negative results. At 4:23 a.m. a caller reported a theft in progress on Washington Park Drive. A caller stated that two males were attempting to steal a car that had a broken steering column. The two men fled in different directions and a K-9 unit was dispatched to track the suspects. Police were unable to located the suspects on Wednesday morning. At 2:08 p.m. a down wire was reported on Dascomb Road. At 3:24 p.m. a caller reported hitting a cat on  South Main Street. The cat had no tags. The following are excerpts from the Andover Police log. The log is open to the public. At 3:10 p.m. police arrested Rhadames A. Lachapel, 60, 169 Salem St., Lawrence, on River Road. Lachapel was charged with driving with a license revoked for an operating under the influence conviction. At 3:11 a.m. a caller reported that the railroad gates at Essex Street were stuck in the down position. The problem was eventually fixed. At 10:32 a.m. a caller reported a motor vehicle accident with no injuries on Dascomb Road. At 10:41 a.m. police reported a manhole cover that is caving in on Haverhill Street. Cyclist Not Injured in Motor Vehicle Accident

The police logs for Tuesday, April 26, contained one arrest and several small incidents.

The following are excerpts from the Andover Police log. The log is open to the public. Tuesday, April 26 At 8:18 a.m. a caller reported a two-car crash on Route 125. No injuries were reported. At 9:47 a.m. a caller reported possible illegal dumping at a neighbor’s house on River Road.  At 12:34 p.m. police reported an accident involving a motor vehicle collision with a bicycle on Barnard Street. Police did not have details regarding the accident as of Wednesday morning, but said that the bicyclist was not injured and it is unclear whether the motorist will be cited for any traffic violations. At 12:53 p.m. police arrested Jennifer R. Curley, 32, of 10 Indian Summer Lane, Methuen, on Main Street. Curley was charged with operating a motor …

Police Help Tewksbury with Stabbing Incident

The police logs for Wednesday, April 20, contained several small incidents.

The following are excerpts from the Andover Police log. The log is open to the public. Wednesday, April 20 At 1:58 a.m. an officer reported a broken window in a building on South Main Street. At 9:55 a.m. a caller reported a past motor vehicle break-in on Woodland Road. A GPS device was stolen from the vehicle. At 3:26 p.m. police assisted Tewksbury Police with a stabbing that was reported off East Street. Police were checking areas on Dascomb Road for a cell phone that could be related to the stabbing. At 4:51 p.m. a minor motor vehicle accident was reported on River Road. No injuries were reported. The police log for Thursday, March 31, contained two arrests and several small incidents.

The following are excerpts from the Andover Police log. The log is open to the public. Thursday, March 31 At 3:05 a.m. police arrested Luis A. Cabrera, 40, of 320 Lawrence St., Lawrence, on Lowell Street. Cabrera was charged with speeding in violation with a special regulation, operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license – subsequent offense, operating under the influence of liquor and an open container of liquor in a motor vehicle. At 5:59 a.m. an employee of the La Quinta Inn reported that staff found firearm ammunition in a bible and were asking police to dispose of it. An officer retrieved the ammunition.
