Pets of the Week

Oreo and Lacy

This perky pooch and cuddly cat need good homes.

Oreo is a cuddly cat with lots of love to give. And Lacy is an affectionate border collie mix who loves to play. These two prize pets are among many at the MSPCA at Nevins Farm, 400 Broadway, Methuen, available for adoption. Call 978-687-7453 for more information. Please note: Oreo has a little black mark on her nose, but it's just a scar (it's unknown what caused it) and is not a medical problem or defect. She seems quite fine with it, and it adds character. Please also note: The volunteer in Lacy's video is saying she has a "herder instinct," not "hurter." Border collies are herding dogs, so they are easily trained and like to stay active as if they are performing jobs, and sometimes they bump their family members as if to herd them …

Buster and Jasmine

Buster and Jasmine are at the MSPCA in Methuen and are in need of a good home.

Jasmine is a pit-bull mix and loves people and other dogs. Buster is a long-haired black and white cat and is affectionate. Both of these animals are at the MSPCA in Methuen at Nevins Farm. Call 687-7453 or visit www.mspca.org.

Roxy and Willy

These two lovable pets need homes.

Roxy is a two-year-old pug-beagle mix that has a lot of energy and is very smart,  but can be a hand-full. Willy is a nine-year-old black and white, short-haired house cat that is sweet but doesn't typically like dogs.
