ReplyDeval continues to eviscerate the middle class as he walks out the door with new tax proposals for us so....ANY republican with a business background will take this sorry state to a better place. Didn't hurt at all Parsons, now go pay your tax bill. Anyone remember what DEVALUE ran on ? --- "I promise to lower your property tax bill" unfortunately all he lowered were our values.

ReplyWe never mattered, remember the "vote" to reduce the state income tax. We don't have a prayer of being heard, afterall, they know what's best for us. So sit down and shut up!

Agree, Sean. Everyone is part of the collective. My husband had a union job in yellow pages quite a few years ago. His first week selling he was told to slow down he was making others look bad. He left after three months of badgering by his shop steward.

ReplyI am not knocking anyone I just don't believe all positions are equal. Most immigrants, German, Irish, Italian took any job they could get. They quickly learned where they did not want to be and did something about it. Today's illegal immigrant walks into, healthcare, food, shelter, education, pretty much everything that the immigrants of the last generation paid for with hard work. The bottom of the food chain is where most of us start out. I worked, while in high school, as a waitress. It is up to individual drive, ambition and desire to raise yourself from that level. I do not believe I earned any more or less than I was worth as a waitress. Made some good tips but it was not my dream job for sure. Worked for a crazy Greek chef, prone to throwing things. For sure, I learned quickly that this would not be a good career choice for me. My nature is to throw back! Hope you all had a great Thanksgiving.

Sorry, I meant to mention the new hairdo. The bangs were to die for.
PK, I do believe in climate change, happens here every day in New England. The earth is aging, things are going to change. I do not think I can stop it no matter how many teeny, tiny cars I drive or bins of recyclables I present. As we cling to our guns, religion and family's and feel the need to pay our own way, we continue to not believe, but know, nothing is free. The time to pay the piper is closing in and I will keep my conservative friends in my foxhole. Industrious bunch that we are, we can make it without government. Truly. Good Luck with your buddies.
