ReplyHello everyone,
Upon further review, the headline has been modified for this article. While the intention in no way was to appear insensitive, in light of what happened recently, I certainly understand why it may have been looked upon as such. Thanks for your understanding.

ReplyThe following note is from the Havlin family:
Due to the current lockdown situation in Boston, the Kraft Family Blood Center has had to cancel tomorrows blood drive. They are physically unable to retrieve the blood mobile and all staff is on needed for current situation.
We will notify everyone of a new date once we get one. Please share this with friends, as we don't want anyone to show up unnecessarily.
We apologize for any inconvenience and hope all our blood donors will reschedule with us.
Thank you again for your support of our family, and for Dana Farber/Brigham and Women's Hospital. We hope your family and loved ones remain safe. Please take the time that you would have spent with us tomorrow with your loved ones

Hi Sarah, Not yet. That is usually released around graduation, but we'll update you when we find out. Acceptance letters are still coming in and students are still making decisions at this time, so I think that number would still be very fluid.

Just a point of information, the candidates (4 in total and 2 will win) are Joyce Husseini, Patricia MacNeil, Debra Cote, and Carol Brown. I believe George Dolinsky and Deborah Sovinee's terms expire in 2014 and Dr. Ural's in 2015. Tom Colburn's seat is also up for election this year, but he decided not to run again.
