Andover's Start Group Named 'Best Place to Work'

The Boston Business Journal recently named the Start Group as one of 2011s best place to work.

The Start Group, a specialized staffing company, was named one of Boston’s Best Places to Work in Massachusetts. The Start Group which is comprised of two divisions, SaleStart and ALKU Technologies, won this honor that recognizes achievements in creating a positive work environment. They attract and retain employees through a combination of employee satisfaction, working conditions and company culture.

The company’s success is attributed to the hard work and dedication of its employees. The philosophy instilled at The Start Group is to work hard and reward more. The Start Group has more than doubled in revenue and headcount each year since inception in 2008.

Companies were evaluated on the results of more than 18,000 employee-satisfaction surveys. The criteria addressed factors such as pride in the company, company encouragement, support and recognition of achievement and relationships with co-workers and supervisors.
